I may be just a tad bit behind on discovering this, but am none the less really moved by the message and goal...
From the I Believe She's Amazing website;
"Kim MacGregor launched this grassroots movement to unite and inspire 1,000,000 women around the world to recognize the amazing women in their lives--in memory of her inspirational friend Erika Heller, who lost her four-year battle with colon cancer on May 28, 2009, at 31 years old, just two weeks shy of her one-year wedding anniversary to her Prince Charming, Ryan Cornell."
This awesome movement encourages women to continue to be in awe of the amazing women in their lives...and to be vocal about it! What a great reminder to celebrate the beauty of our true friendships; how they heal us, support us and fill us with love and laughter. What a powerful message to cherish one another and every moment we are gifted to spend connected in living.
For a mini goose-bump session, check out the video of a flash mob performance done to spark awareness of the cause;
I believe the women in my life are strong. They are kind and giving. They are joyful and playful and flat out fun. They are love personified as exactly who they are....and who they are, well, it knocks my socks off.
