The cold I've been trying to drown in buckets of vitamin C for the past 4 days has decided to bring out the big guns. Having a cold is so much more uncomfortable to me when it's warm out and I wish it would leave me alone.
Because of this cold, I'm running on about 2 hours of sleep (I'm so sorry, little brother Frank, for keeping you up with all my coughing! I hope you have a safe flight home today).
I'm still chugging tea and oj, in an effort to at least crush these germs sooner than later. This line of delicious teas is still my current favorite. (Huge thank you to Weebly for letting me stock as many as I want in the office). Our team favorite continues to be Get Burning.
I just made a small donation to a Kickstarter project about gratitude and I'm feeling inspired to re-dedicate my heart and my time to this blog. I've got some ideas I'd love to share with you, soon, if you wouldn't mind and I may be requesting a few volunteers.
A woman I work with recently told me she loves my "bohemian chic/bohemian glamour" style, and I'm not sure she understands just how big that made my wannabe-fashionista-spirit feel. Here's what I was wearing when she gifted me the compliment:
I'd still be living in jeans and hoodies every chance I get if I had never met Jenny, who inspires me to take pride in my wardrobe, see it as a form of expression and allow the confidence it gives me to carry me higher.
I bought an unlimited month pass to a yoga studio near my office today. I'm not feeling as fabulous as I'd like in my own skin, but I think some dedicated time to stretching and strengthening (with a side of the spiritual you all know I love) should get me back on track.
My smoothie isn't really that tasty...so that must mean it's extra good for me, right?
